CM: Serie A side express concrete interest in signing teenage Milan forward

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan striker Lorenzo Colombo could well have a future in Serie A next season after his current loan experience ends, a report claims.

Colombo has had a positive season overall with SPAL so far as he has found himself getting plenty of senior minutes and he racked up six goals before the Christmas break. There are many reports claiming that he will return to Milanello at the end of the campaign, but it should only be a passing visit to spend some of preseason.

The plan for the Rossoneri youth sector product is for him to spend another season out on loan, perhaps in Serie A this time after a couple of experiences in the second tier.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com reporter Daniele Longo, it is likely that Lorenzo Colombo’s future in 2022-23 should still be in Serie A, because the teenager is a concrete target for Andreazzoli’s Empoli as they look to reinforce the attack.
