Why there will be many empty seats during Juventus-Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

Tonight’s game between Juventus and AC Milan at the Allianz Stadium should have been played in front of a full house, but instead there will be plenty of empty seats.

The equation for both sides is simple. Milan need just one point from their final two games of the season to guarantee a fourth-placed finish, while Juventus must win tonight and against Udinese in the final round to stand a chance of getting a Champions League spot, hoping the Rossoneri lose twice.

However, it will not be a capacity crowd in Turin as both Juventus and Milan fans are protesting over ticket prices. The Curva Sud announced that they would not be present a few days ago, with Juve wanting over €80 for away sector tickets.

Meanwhile, Bianconeri fans are also protesting and they will remain outside of the stadium for the first 20 minutes because they too are unhappy with the price hikes they have been subject to.

FootballItalia write how Juve fans likened the way ticket prices are going to ‘a night at the theatre’ reserved only for the elite.

  1. This flop partains only to juve administration for bringing the wrong players and Agnelli for dreaming about super league with our riivals Barċellona and Real Madrid.
