With the international break underway, AC Milan are already thinking of the transfer market to plan in the best way possible ahead of next season.
In fact, during the Netherlands-Belarus game, the Rossoneri had scouts in the stands to watch a few players of interest, including targets for the wing position. SempreMilan.com’s Vito Angele talks us through the latest news below.
Eyes on Bergwijn and Depay
The left-wing position continues to be a priority for the Milan management. In January, Leonardo was unable to bring in a winger to manager Rino Gattuso. Suso’s poor form has highlighted a gap that in June must be filled.
With regards to this, during Netherlands-Belarus, there was the opportunity to see several players who could be Milan material in action. One of the targets is Memphis Depay, who’s been on the Rossoneri’s radar for quite some time. However, a €40m bid might not be enough for the former Man Utd man, which is why Milan have turned to other players.
Stefen Bergwijn, winger of PSV, represents a possibility, though he wouldn’t be cheap either. The price tag is set at €35m and multiple clubs are interested in the player. Therefore, the low-cost solution could be Sevilla’s Quincy Promes, who could arrive on loan.
