The public debate has come to an end and now they must assess the facts and the proposals before taking a decision.
If they do green light the project, it will cost Inter and AC Milan €40 million. The municipality has got 60 days to come to its decision but the two clubs are hoping that the timeframe could be shorter than that.
The coordinator of the public debate, Andrea Pillon, said: “From the talks I have had so far, in a month the City Council should present its dossier. I know they are in a hurry, the offices are working hard on the project.”
