Fabrizio Romano delivers good news for Man Utd regarding loanee after dazzling display for Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan do not have an option to buy inserted into the loan deal which saw Diogo Dalot arrive from Manchester United, it has been confirmed.

The Rossoneri secured Dalot as their final signing of the summer late in the window, as the Portuguese full-back arrived on a season-long dry loan deal from United.

Fabrizio Romano reported for Calciomercato.com earlier in the month that Milan are convinced that they have made a great coup in Dalot, who got up to speed and ready to play in quick time. There have been suggestions about his loan being made permanent, and his comments pre-match certainly do not extinguish the possibility.

Dalot then amassed a gorgeous assist and his first goal for the club in the 3-0 win over Sparta Praha, which was followed by some bad news for Milan but good news for Manchester United.

According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, Milan have signed Dalot on a simple dry loan. He adds that the Premier League side refused to listen to the idea of including an option to buy as they are convinced the former Porto ‘will be a top full-back in the future’.
