Hakan Calhanoglu has made it his priority to sign a renewal with AC Milan, it is claimed, but it all comes down to a crucial meeting with his agent today.
Tuttosport (via MilanNews) gave an update on the Calhanoglu situation earlier today, reporting that Milan are ready to offer a salary of €3.5-4m per year but they will not go above that, given the economic problems that have hit all football clubs after the pandemic.
Calhanoglu who has always made it known that he wants to stay with the Rossoneri for a long time, but it will all come down to the talks that take place today at Casa Milan and he will have to lower his demands.
A number of sources have reported that his agent Gordon Stipic is in Italy and is ready to meet with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara before the Rossoneri’s trip to face Genoa.
According to what is being reported by Fabrizio Romano on his latest podcast (via RouteOneFootball), Calhanoglu’s will is to remain at the club.
“Hakan Çalhanoğlu’s agent will meet with AC Milan today, he’s interested in staying at AC Milan but at the moment they are still negotiating.”
