Franck Kessie’s future has not yet been decided and he could still sign a contract renewal with AC Milan, according to Fabrizio Romano.
There continues to be a number of reports linking Spurs with a move for Kessie, and La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that the dialogue between his entourage and Tottenham appears to be at a ‘very advanced stage’ as the midfielder appears inclined to leave Milan on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Romano made an appearance on the Last Word On Spurs podcast (starting at 21:14) and (via SpursWeb) he states that Kessie could still do a U-turn and sign a contract extension with the Rossoneri.
Regarding the interest from the north London club, he added that director Fabio Paratici knows the midfielder’s qualities well from his time in Italy, as he attempted sign him from Atalanta before he moved to the San Siro.
