Fabrizio Romano suggests €40m Fiorentina star is England-bound amid Milan and Man Utd links

Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic appears to be more likely to move to England as opposed to another Italian club amid links with AC Milan, Fabrizio Romano has claimed.

Milenkovic has been repeatedly linked with a move to Milan over the past few months as he is on a contract which is set to expire in June 2022, meaning he is approaching an important crossroads.

La Repubblica (via CM.it) recently reported that the Serbia international does not want to renew with Manchester United are the team on pole for the centre-back, but Inter, Milan and Juventus are also in the background ready to strike if the opportunity presents itself.

Speaking on his podcast ‘Here We Go’, Fabrizio Romano gave an update on the situation surrounding Milenkovic, confirming the interest of a pair of Premier League clubs and suggesting that the Premier League beckons.

“Milenkovic is not going to extend with Fiorentina. West Ham offered €25m and Fiorentina said no, they were asking for €40m in my opinion. Manchester United have always been scouting him. He has huge chances to move to England,” he said (via R1F).
