Report: Faivre antagonises Brest again by giving unauthorised interview about Milan move

By Oliver Fisher -

It seems as though Romain Faivre might well have angered Brest once again as the winger gave an unauthorised interview to the Italian media, a report claims.

Faivre has made no secret about his desire to join Milan once the transfer window reopens after the failed pursuit during the summer, as he gave an interview today stating that he is still charmed by Paolo Maldini’s phone call and dropped a strong hint that he is gearing up for the move, even claiming he has spoken to former Monaco team-mate Fode Ballo-Toure about the club.

It was well documented how over the summer Faivre’s decision not to show up for an early-season game caused the move to break down as Brest pulled him off the market, and he has done another thing to antagonise the management.

According to the latest from Brest On Air, Faivre spoke to the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport without asking for permission from Brest first.
