Fenerbahce have expressed an interest in signing Ante Rebic and have asked AC Milan about the terms of a potential deal, a report claims.
According to Sporx in Turkey, Fenerbahce contacted Milan regarding Rebic and expressed an interest in signing him, asking the Rossoneri what the conditions would be for a deal to go through before 5 March, when the transfer window closes in Turkey.
The report adds that the Turkish club have asked to sign Rebic on loan with an option to make it a permanent deal at the end of the season, with their head coach Jorge Jesus in particular pushing to sign the Croatian.
However, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are not considering selling the 29-year-old unless it is a permanent deal, given the window is not open in Italy for a replacement to be found.
Rebic has three goals and two assists in 21 appearances this season for Milan and is firmly behind Rafael Leao in the pecking order.
I would sell him for a bag of chips and save his 3.5 m net salary
That would leave us without LW cover. They need to insert good obligation, or they can come back in the summer. Loan with option is laughable offer.
