Fiorentina unwilling to sell Milan-linked duo but Pezzella implies his future is to be decided

By Oliver Fisher -

Fiorentina are not willing to part with either of the defenders that AC Milan are interested in and instead would rather renew them, a report claims.

Milan are in the market for a new centre-back since that department is currently stretched due to the injuries that Alessio Romagnoli and Mateo Musacchio are currently recovering on.

Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic is Milan’s first choice target, as per Tuttosport (via MilanNews), but the Rossoneri are also looking at their captain Pezzella as a possible opportunity.

The paper claims though that La Viola are not willing to sell the Argentine, but on the contrary their president Rocco Commisso would like to offer him a new contract.

However, il Corriere Fiorentino managed to speak to the 29-year-old about his future and about the possibility of him staying in Florence and renewing his contract.

The defender, though, remained coy: “We will talk about it. We will decide what will be best for both of us.”
