Samu Castillejo is one of the players that Milan consider to be up for sale, but they haven’t received any concrete offers for the winger. A few weeks back, though, he could have been part of a swap deal.
According to FootMercato journalist Santi Auona, Milan discussed a swap deal with Real Betis that involved Castillejo and left-back Alex Moreno. At the time, of course, the Rossoneri were looking for a deputy for Theo Hernandez.

To make the deal possible, though, Castillejo needed to lower his salary and he didn’t agree to this. This pushed Milan to make a move for Fode Ballo-Toure, who was signed from Monaco for a fee of around €4m.
Had the swap deal gone through, it would have been interesting to see the terms of the deal. It’s possible that it would have been a dry swap, seeing as the valuations of the two players are pretty similar.
