From England: Lampard ‘pressuring’ Chelsea leadership to sign AC Milan or PSG striker

By Isak Möller -

Despite a poor first half of the season, bagging just four goals in the league, Kris Piatek continues to attract interest from abroad. However, there are just a few days left until the transfer window closes.

According to reports from The Sun, the Polish striker has ended up on the radar of Chelsea, who are looking to sign a striker this month. In fact, along with Edinson Cavani of PSG, he tops the Stamford Bridge side’s transfer wish list.

Furthermore, as the report continues, manager Frank Lampard is pressuring the Chelsea leadership to bring in a striker before the window closes. However, Milan would have to accept a loan deal until the end of the season, which seems unlikely.

On Friday, the transfer window will close and time is running out for Chelsea. As for Milan, they are working on several fronts, with the aim of completing a few more operations before it’s too late.
