According to the latest reports out of France, Cesc Fabregas is set to snub AC Milan, despite reports suggesting that the Spaniard is actually quite close to the Rossoneri.
In fact, as reported by L’Equipe, the negotiations are progressing well between the midfielder and Monaco, who are offering a 2.5-year contract worth €10m per year. In other words, a lot more than Milan would be able to offer.
The report adds that a deal could be completed by next week, although there are still a few things to resolve in the contract. Furthermore, Fabregas will have to terminate his contract with Chelsea, which expires this summer.
