Jorge Mendes has held discussions with Atletico Madrid regarding a move for his client Rafael Leao, according to a report.
Leao is one of a number of players who have picked up massively since the resumption of Serie A after what had been until then a very difficult season for the young Portuguese striker.
Nicolo Schira reported on Twitter earlier in the week that Leao wishes to remain at Milan into next season but Ralf Rangnick will be the man who has the final say.
In addition, his agent Jorge Mendes has already held talks with Wolves, Juventus and Atletico Madrid over his client, meaning that if Milan did decide to sell then the offers would not be lacking.
Now, Spanish outlet TodoFichajes have confirmed that Atletico Madrid are in the running to land Leao in addition to the other two clubs as all have excellent relations with the Portuguese agent.
Milan believe in Leao though and he is now worth more than the €25million that they paid to sign him from Lille last summer after his exploits in recent weeks.
