From Spain: Milan and Inter enquire about €16m man who desperately wants to leave Barcelona

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Inter have enquired about signing goalkeeper Neto, who is out of Barcelona’s plans heading into the summer window as per a report.

According to Sport, Barca are trying to sell some of their fringe players and one player who will not continue at the club is the goalkeeper Neto, who wants more minutes. Milan and Inter have shown an interest in the ex-Fiorentina and Juventus man, with the Catalan side happy to listen to cash offers or swap deals.

Barça signed him in exchange for Jasper Cillessen in a deal worth around €26m as per the report and they would not sell him for anything less than €16m. Premier League side Everton are also keen, and while Milan signed Mike Maignan from Lille recently they enquired about Neto with his agent Giuliano Bertolucci.

Neto wants to move on from Barcelona as he has not managed to take Marc ter Stegen’s place in the team and has suffered from a lack of minutes, with his big aspiration being to get back into the Brazil squad.

  1. He wants more minutes, and we just got ourselves a leading GK from a winning Ligue-1 title, surely he won’t come to Milan to play second fiddle AGAIN? Not to mention that his tag is actually more expensive than Maignan. Where’s the logic here?

I wonder if you guys are just linking everyone at this point, this almost feels like trolling.
