AC Milan have been dealt a boost in their hopes of keeping Brahim Diaz as the player wants to stay, according to a report from Spain.

Brahim Diaz was among the key protagonists on Sunday night as Milan thumped Juventus 3-0 to take a big step in the top four race. He was the scorer of the first goal of the game, he won a penalty and provided a sensational performance that fully confirms his talent.

According to what is being reported by Spanish source AS (via MilanNews), Brahim is held in very high regard both by his team-mates but also by head coach Stefano Pioli, while the Rossoneri management are convinced of the possibility of extending his stay at Milan beyond June.

Not only that, but they write how the 21-year-old is very happy in Italy and would be content to stay, while Milan would like to count on the player for at least another season and will therefore try to extend his loan, also including an option to buy for summer 2022.
