From Spain: Milan interested in €40m-rated Spain U21 sensation

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are interested in Dinamo Zagreb star Dani Olmo and could get the green light to make a move in January, a report claims.

The Spaniard – who played a big part in the U21 side which won the European Championships this summer – has been linked with a move to the Rossoneri since the start of the year.

Milan’s interest was confirmed by his agent Marko Naletilić back in December, while in June Olmo himself confessed that he is flattered by the links.

His father Miquel revealed all about Milan’s interest in an interview with Calciomercato.com last month, admitting he did hold discussions with the Rossoneri.

However, an update from Spanish outlet Fichajes suggests that Milan’s interest is far from a thing of the past.

They report that Olmo is expected to leave the club as soon as January having revealed his frustration in the media at Zagreb pricing him out of a move

Milan are joined by Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Valencia in their interest in the 21-year-old, the report claims.

Olmo has already netted four goals in six competitive games for Dinamo this season, with numerous outlets claiming his valuation was €40m over the summer.
