From Spain: PSG join race to sign Man Utd linked Milan playmaker valued at €30-40m

Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race to sign AC Milan playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu, according to a report.

There has been much deliberation as to whether the Rossoneri will strike a deal with the Turkey international given that multiple sources have claimed he is requesting a mammoth pay rise.

The latest update from Marc Behrenbeck of Sky Germany on Twitter claimed that there have been ‘good conversations’ between the Milan management and the entourage of the player.

According to Spanish outlet TF, Leonardo is thinking of bringing him to Paris Saint-Germain, but the Rossoneri are calm and there is a belief that the renewal will come, and this is thanks to the strong bond that exists between the player and the team.

Calhanoglu will still be wearing the red and black shirt, barring sensational twists, especially because losing him would be enormous damage from all points of view. First of all there is the technical and tactical side of things, because Hakan is really important for the project, but then also economic, because today the value of his card is very high (around €30-40m).
