From Spain: Real Madrid forward seems destined for January exit amid Milan links

By Oliver Fisher -

Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic could try and force his way out in January due to a lack of playing time, according to a report.

The transfer window may have only closed last Monday, but there have been rumours doing the rounds that the Rossoneri could look to move for a striker in the January window given the lack of a natural replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Tuttosport (via MilanLive) reported last week that Milan are monitoring Luka Jovic and his position at Real Madrid, ready to pounce should the opportunity arise.

According to the latest from TodoFichajes, Jovic does not seem to be in Zinedine Zidane’s plans and his playing time has taken a hit as a result. The striker was close to leaving but Borja Mayoral’s departure to Roma forced Zidane to stick with Jovic until the winter.

If the situation continues, then the former Eintracht Frankfurt man will look to force a move in January, possibly on loan, with Milan seemingly ready to seize any opportunity that may arise.
