From Spain: Real Madrid monitoring progress of playmaker at Milan and plan for his return

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan might not be able to count on Brahim Diaz for much longer than the initial loan as Real Madrid are reportedly already aware of his exploits.

According to Don Balon (via MilanLive), Los Blancos are monitoring the progress of Brahim after sending him back to Milan on a two-year loan after his initial one season spell in 2020-21. They are always aware of yesterday’s bright performance in the Champions League, in which he scored the second goal to put Milan 2-1 up against Liverpool at Anfield.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez continues to monitor the playmaker and is considering trying to bring him back to the Spanish capital. The Spanish site claims that the 22-year-old is on loan without an option to buy, meaning he should return to the Spanish capital unless a buy-out option is agreed.

Real also have Reinier on loan at Borussia Dortmund but he is not impressing, and therefore his return is not as convincing an idea as that of Brahim Diaz.

  1. Not surprising…Real will buy him back 100 percent especially with these kinds of performances. Shame we will lose him in a few years but not much we can do. Signing his replacement is Yacine Adli was excellent. Should also do whatever we can to sign Kamara to replace Kessie as well who is gone IMO…
