Rafael Leao wants to leave AC Milan and his agent Jorge Mendes is looking for a team for him, according to a report from Spain.
According to Defensa Central, the first destination that has come to mind is Real Madrid and that is why Mendes has offered the Portuguese forward to Los Blancos. The report mentions how he was a potential Real Madrid target before landing at San Siro, but after a season in which Leao played 40 games and scored 7 goals, it doesn’t seem as if the LaLiga side would now be willing to pay €35-40m.
Milan do not want to sell him for cheaper than his market value despite the fact that the source claims he is not comfortable with the Rossoneri wants to try a new experience this summer. Real Madrid do not seem likely to be the club though, because of the asking price involved, even if their president Florentino Perez appreciates Mendes’ offer.
