AC Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani has thanked fans in Singapore for their warm welcome, and insisted the club want to give back to them.
In the past few years the preseason tour has more often than not taken Milan out West rather than East, with the United States of America the usual destination. However, this time they will go out to Asia-Pacific region, more specifically Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.

The highlight of course will be the three high-profile friendlies that the Rossoneri will play, starting with two prestigious opponents from the Premier League.
On 23 July, Massimiliano Allegri’s men will play Arsenal at the Singapore National Stadium, as part of the Singapore Festival of Football. Three days later they play Liverpool at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, in the Hong Kong Football Festival. Then, Perth Glory await in Perth on 31 July.
Furlani led the Rossoneri delegation in the early hours of the morning in Singapore and he gave a brief comment to reporters, which was transcribed by La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below).
“We immediately felt the warmth of our fans in Singapore. Seeing so many people upon our arrival is exciting, and we want to repay that same enthusiasm during this tour,” he said.
