AC Milan convincingly beat Monza in what was a special game last night, as the newly-promoted side is owned by Silvio Berlusconi. The Rossoneri didn’t let the past get in their way, though.
Brahim Diaz was the big hero with a brace in the first half and Divock Origi (finally) got off the mark in the Milan shirt. The game finished 4-1 as Rafael Leao joined the party in the dying minutes of the game.
On the front page, Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote the following: “A night at the top for AC Milan, as Diaz commands. Show from the Spaniard, a brace and KO. Origi also unlocks his deadlock.”
Tuttosport: “Milan beat Berlusconi. Super Diaz, the Rossoneri overwhelm Monza.”
Corriere Dello Sport: “Milan lock on to Kvara [and Napoli] at the top of the table. Diaz brace, the Rossoneri fly.”
