Sergio Conceicao’s position remains under heavy scrutiny, following the poor results in the league recently, and the atmosphere is certainly tense. As highlighted by the papers this morning, there is no unity at AC Milan currently.
After three consecutive defeats in the league, and a European dream more or less gone, Milan need to clinch all three points away at Lecce tomorrow. Without a win, Conceicao will likely have to make way for an interim solution.
In addition to the results, however, the tense relationship with the club has been fueled by the words of Conceicao’s entourage. As such, the manager has indirectly criticised not just the squad but also the management, making CEO Giorgio Furlani furious.
An unprecedented XI should also be fielded by the manager tomorrow, as also highlighted by the papers.
