Viktor Gyökeres’ candidacy for the post-Olivier Giroud at AC Milan is growing, at least per today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport. While the competition will be fierce in the summer, the Rossoneri have an ace up their sleeves.
Gyökeres has been one of the main sensations this season, currently at 36 goals and 14 assists for Sporting Lisbon. He has attracted the interest of several big clubs and a departure seems likely in the summer, with Milan watching him closely too.
The pink newspaper focused on the Swede and Milan’s interest this morning, highlighting the Zlatan Ibrahimovic factor. The latter should not be underestimated, even if a hefty offer will be needed to convince the Portuguese side.
