The Italian newspapers inevitably focus on the success of the Azzurri, who scored three goals against Hakan Calhanoglu’s Turkey. All of them came in the second half after what was domination from Italy, thoroughly deserving the win.
Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote this on their front page: “Italy smile. Party at the Olimpico”. Tuttosport had the following: “This is how we want you!”. Corriere Dello Sport added: “Long live Italy. Azzurri start strong”.
