In terms of Milan-related news, Mike Maignan was the focus of the Italian newspapers this morning. The goalkeeper sustained an injury while on duty with France and will be out for a month.
The tests, which came back yesterday, revealed a lesion in Maignan’s left calf and that means he will be on the sidelines for about one month. He will miss some important games as a result, including the two meetings with Chelsea.
Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote the following on the front page: “Maignan is a problem. Milan recall Tatarusanu.”
Tuttosport: “Ouch Maignan; no Chelsea and Juve for him.”
Corriere Dello Sport: “Maignan, calf injury. Milan will be without him for a month.”
