AC Milan continued their unbeaten run in the league last night as they beat Bologna 4-2 away from home. The Rossoblu were down to ten men for most of the game but despite this, the Rossoneri struggled.
Milan certainly didn’t make it easy for themselves as they squandered a 2-0 lead quickly in the second half. From there on, Bologna sat back and Stefano Pioli’s side only found a way through thanks to a rocket from Bennacer.
On their front page, Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote the following about the game: “Milan crazy head. Bologna down to nine, Pioli suffers but is at the top [of the standings]”. Tuttosport wrote this: “Bennacer-Ibra, Milan relief. What a struggle vs. Bologna in nine!”.
