This morning, there has been a lot suggested about a new striker for AC Milan, and reports are certainly unsure of a direction.
There is a need for another route to be found now, after all, Milan are without yet another striker. Someone where a deal was reportedly done, in this case Conrad Harder, and now will not arrive this summer, it seems.

He is the latest to join that list, after Victor Boniface failed his medical. However, there is seemingly no clear direction for the Rossoneri now. Even with Harder, though, this could have been questioned.

It seems there is a split, and it would not be a surprise if this were the case internally, too.
It’s becoming obvious at this point that Tare was only brought on to handle the sales part of the job, while the comic duo of Moncada and Furlani still manages the incoming transfers. Having any sort of expectations with this kind of structure is beyond naive.
Its actually Furlani that does the sales negotiating.
He doesn’t do negotiation but he gives green or red light over conditions of practically everything in the club. From fees, players signed to contracts etc.

The funny part is that if the fans like the sale of a player its thanks to Tare, but if they don’t like it, Reijnders, then its Furlani that sold the player for cheap.
Milan asking for too much money for Musah is blamed on Furlani.
Furlani isn’t the one picking the players but he does the negotiating for both sales and purchases. Fans just pick and choose who to give the credit or the blame based on how they like the sale/purchase.
I’ve said it 20 times. Tare did nothing. He is an illusionist, not a magician. Anyone grandma could have sold Thiaw to Newcastle for that money, a club owned by Saudis and tracking the player since the CL game.
And Tare, if he is a puppet, is such a little bi*ch that I think his balls fell of some time ago. If Furlani is dictating all of the transfers and he practically has no say. In that case Tare is the biggest loser in football, ever.
I’m not giving credit to anyone but roles are roles. Furlani holds the power over everything here, Tare is talking to and negotiating, bringing everything to Furlani’s table who then decides. I work as CEO’s deputy for commercial affairs in our company and it is I who discuss a potential deal with our customer but the end decision is from our CEO. He gives his final verdict and goes to close the deal with me accompanying him. Final details of the deal are being discussed by our CEO.
Yes but sporting directors in football are usually a bit better positioned than a deputy CEO in a company. Because the point is to have someone who understands football, the sporting side, and have them make sporting decision, along with the transfer board or whatever you call the few people that make the decision. To bring the best results, not financially. That is the whole point of having a sporting director. If Tare has practically no say he is almost useless. I do understand he does his job, as you do, but last season we didn’t have anyone on that position and things were the same. What is the point?
U know what is the most ugly part that Moncada and Furlani have nothing to do with Football and Milan in generally and they decide what to do, thats why Maldini left. This 2 guys are the servants of Elliot and Redbird is just a mask of investor, Elliot has Everything still on controle.
At the end of the last season, during an interview with furlani the journalist asked me after he hired Tare , he said. ” we” are going to do the mercato. That speaks clearly how furlani still involves negativity if i can say it this way base on Dusan V. Negotiation and his salary. This guy and his corporate creates more damage on the sporting decisions. They you tare has a face to operate behind the door.
So Tare is basically a ball-less bi*ch? Not a magician but Furlani’s little bi*ch?
Nkunku is a bit pricey but if Allegri plans on using 2 strikers then Nkunku makes perfect sense as a 2nd striker. He would compliment Gimenez well in that regard. The challenge would be where does Leao and Pulisic fit in in a 352 system. And what about. 3rd striker to relieve the 2 strikers. Surely Leao and Puli will not sit around to be subs. Creates a bit of a conundrum for us. Leao/ Gim will work, using Nkunku as a sub for either but that still doesn’t solve the Puli situation. This mercato is very confusing to say the least.
I think the plan is to use Leao-Pulišić duo up front in 352 with Gimenez-Nkunku (potentially) as their backup. But 30+ million for Nkunku to be a backup is totally absurd.

The summer mercato clearly underlines Milan’s lack of purpose. Selling quality players and replacing them with substandard ones. Quite pity.
