Gallery: ‘Nunez ready’, ‘Tare and Allegri convinced’ – Today’s headlines in Gazzetta dello Sport

With the pre-season fast approaching, or so it feels anyway, AC Milan are eager to deliver reinforcements to Max Allegri as soon as possible. Per Gazzetta dello Sport, one of them could be Darwin Nunez.

It has been a rather lively start to the summer for the Rossoneri, replacing Sergio Conceicao with Allegri and appointing Igli Tare as the new sporting director. We have already seen the effects, but more so on the outgoing front.

As such, with the pre-season kicking off next month, Milan are keen on making the right reinforcements as soon as possible. Many names have been linked with the club, as you would expect, and Liverpool striker Nunez is one.

Today’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport highlighted Milan’s interest on the front page, as well as with a dedicated page. Clearly, we are talking about more than just a suggestion here, with the striker seemingly keen on leaving England too.

  1. I don’t think he is the right profile for us, especially in this season. No experience in our league and lost in PL like striker… to much , 40-45m€ for player who maybe don’t score even 10g in season, better to try someone from Italy with experience in our league. There are definitely better options in less price, even Vlahovic or Lucca are more adequate strikers with price around 25m€
