Daniel Maldini will make his first start, for example, which has been highlighted by the newspapers. Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote the following on their front page: “The turnover of Pioli. The third Maldini is ready and the return of Giroud.”
Tuttosport had a similar headline: “Pioli launches Maldini. The big news could be Daniel as an attacking midfielder. Giroud is back”. Corriere Dello Sport also had a similar approach: “Pioli in La Spezia finds Giroud. Among the Rossoneri ideas is Maldini jr behind the Frenchman”.
