AC Milan failed to claim all three points in their clash against Atalanta last night, held to a 1-1 draw at Gewiss Stadium. They created enough to win and thus it shouldn’t be treated as a complete disaster.
Ismael Bennacer was the hero for the Rossoneri as he curled in the equaliser in the second half. It was a wonderful strike from the Algerian who certainly has started the season well and we hope to see more of it.
On the front page, Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote the following about the game: “Milan, Gasperini costs you. The first big clash of the season ends in a draw. Super Bennacer responds to Malinosvkyi. De Ketelaere enters and Milan come to life.”
Corriere Dello Sport, meanwhile, wrote the following: “Milan suffer against Atalanta. Bennacer avoids the defeat. Malinosvkyi complicates the life of the champions.”
