Gazidis: “We are working very hard to bring Milan back to high levels”

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis has insisted that he is doing everything in his power to try and restore the Rossoneri to an elite level.

Milan have not enjoyed the best of starts to the season, having lost six of their first 11 games for the first time in 78 years, and pressure is on the board to turn things around with the club currently languishing in the bottom half of the table.

The former Arsenal director recently spoke at a shareholders’ meeting, insisting he is ‘convinced’ that the club can overcome the various obstacles and ‘restore pride’ to the Rossoneri.

Now, Gazidis has spokem at the presentation of the book ‘Sempre Milan’ to commemorate 120 years of the club, and his words were transcribed by MilanNews.it.

“It is a pleasure to be here. Milan are very important in the history of football. I assure you that we are working every day to bring the club back to high levels.

“The game against Juve? We will play against the best team in Italy and I am convinced that we will have a great game.

“I believe that these races will help us get back on the right track to become a great club again.”
