Theo Hernandez ended his wait for a goal in the most spectacular way yesterday at San Siro, dribbling from the edge of his own box all the way to the other end of the field and thumping a deflected shot past Provedel.
La Gazzetta dello Sport writes how the injury sustained by Rafael Leao meant it was up to Theo to command the left flank and he certainly did not disappoint, winning every ball and creating the second goal virtually on his own
The Frenchman was allowed to take the ball for 84 metres before scoring with a play that last just 12 seconds, not too dissimilar from the goal against Atalanta at San Siro last season which was huge in the context of the Scudetto race.
The starting point was just outside the left corner of his box and the point where he released the shot was just outside the Lazio penalty area, which was a run of exactly 84.65 metres. Now, the aim is to repeat how decisive he was against Inter.
