AC Milan currently have four goalkeepers in the squad: Gigio and Antonio Donnarumma, Reina and Jungdal, a Danish goalkeeper bought this summer. Therefore, at least one will have to leave.
At the start of the summer, Gigio Donnarumma was heavily linked with a move PSG. However, it never materialized and the youngster now looks set to remain in the club. Instead, the Rossoneri will have to offload another goalkeeper.
According to reports from Gazzetta, one of the four could leave before the transfer window closes. Reina is expected to remain as he is the second choice, while Jungdal was just brought in to learn from the others.
Therefore, only one name remains: Antonio Donnarumma. The 29-year-old won’t get any playing time this season, while his salary of €1m per year is simply too much for a third-choice goalkeeper. His agent, Mino Raiola is currently working to find him a new club ahead of the season’s start.
