GdS: Agent Mino Raiola due to arrive as Milan star is ready to sign new contract

By Oliver Fisher -

Agent Mino Raiola is expected to meet with the AC Milan management at Casa Milan for a couple of different reasons, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), the well-known and divisive agent is expected in Milano and will be there for the official renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is expected to put pen to paper today. It is a decision whereby Raiola did not have much to say as Ibra will sign until June 2022 and will continue to earn €7m net for next season.

It is a renewal helped by the Growth Decree, which will allow Milan to have a hefty discount on the gross amount to be paid overall to Ibrahimovic and the Treasury, as they will fork over €10.5m in total and not €14m.

The meeting with Raiola will obviously also be important on the Gianluigi Donnarumma front as Milan know they are facing very tough negotiator, but in reality neither the agent nor the goalkeeper have given a concrete answer to the latest proposal of around €8m net per season.

The parties will therefore update themselves, but the impression is that for Donnarumma nothing will be decided before the month of May, when Milan’s top four fate will be known.
