Ismael Bennacer is destined to become one of the key players of Giampaolo’s Milan. However, he will certainly need time, having only participated in a few training sessions with the team.
As reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport this morning, though, the Algerian is already showing match fitness and important personality. However, as Biglia has started all the pre-season games, he will get the nod on Sunday.
Furthermore, Giampaolo wants the balance of his 4-3-1-2 to be fine-runed, meaning that those who recently arrived will need more time to adapt. In that sense, Biglia certainly holds an advantage, as he’s had more time with the manager’s ideas.
With that said, it’s only a matter of time, or rather training, before Bennacer is the starter. For now, he will have to continue to work hard in training and study the midfield trio during the clash with Udinese.
