AC Milan midfield Ismael Bennacer will retake his place in the Milan team against Hellas Verona after a disrupted few weeks, a report claims.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), Bennacer is expected to be given a start by Stefan Pioli in what is yet another huge game in the Rossoneri season.
He has been an important player all season but the Algerian missed the dramatic 2-1 win over Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico with an ankle injury and was only able to come on for the final few minutes against Fiorentina last Sunday.
He will be back in the starting eleven alongside Sandro Tonali for the trip to the Bentegodi on Sunday evening.
The game represents a chance for Milan to go back to the top of the Serie A table after Inter beat Empoli 4-2 on Friday night. A win will mean Milan only need four points from their last two games.
