GdS: Big blow for Inter as Milan consider star midfielder to be unsellable

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have made at clear that midfielder Franck Kessie is considered unsellable this summer despite interest from Inter, a report claims.

Despite having been virtually an ever-present in the starting XI since his arrival from Atalanta back in 2017, Kessie continues to be linked with a possible exit in the upcoming transfer window.

Gianluca Di Marzio recently told Sky Italia that Inter could revisit the idea of signing him as Conte wants more muscle in his midfield.

Meanwhile, FcInterNews confirmed that the Ivorian is a player that Inter like, even mentioning Matias Vecino and Roberto Gagliardini as possible swap deal candidates.

However, Milan have made their stance clear. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), the 23-year-old is no longer considered transferable by Milan who will keep him into next season.

It remains to be seen therefore if he will play a leading role under Ralf Rangnick – the probable new Milan boss – or if he will look to bring in his own players.
