Despite the words of his father earlier today, it seems Mohamed Elneny won’t be joining AC Milan in January. The Rossoneri’s Chief Football Officer, Zvone Boban, has denied the rumours of any negotiations with Arsenal.
After a poor start to the season, Milan are looking for potential reinforcements on the market, as the January transfer window will kick-off next week. By the looks of it, they will be looking to add one player per department.
In an interview with Sada Al Balad TV (via Goal.com), which you can read here, Elneny’s father seemed to indicate that a move to AC Milan was close. However, this doesn’t seem to be the case after, as the club has already denied the deal.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport’s Mohamed Almahmoudy on Twitter, Zvone Boban has denied the rumours of the potential arrival of Elneny in January. Therefore, it remains to be seen if any midfielder will be signed after all.
