Stefano Pioli and the medical team made the decision to bring Brahim Diaz to Croatia for the game against Dinamo Zagreb, but there is still a chance he might not play.
It was very much Brahim Diaz’s night on Saturday as he scored a first half brace against Monza including a fantastic solo run from the halfway line and a clinical strike into the bottom corner, but early in the second half he asked to come off while clutching the top of the back of his thigh.
It was instantly presumed that he had suffered a muscle strain at the very least and would therefore be out of action for a period, however he has travelled with the team for the game at the Stadion Maksimir tonight.
According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Spaniard suffered a contracture in his left buttock on Saturday against Monza, and there will be tests at the hotel today to see if he is at least fit enough to make the bench.
