GdS: Brazilian striker ready to snub Juventus for Milan – Maldini pushing to close the deal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan do not consider their attack to be complete and are looking to sign Kaio Jorge from Santos, according to a report.

As per this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), Paolo Maldini in particular wants another centre-forward to compliment Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud, and he has sniffed the chance to land Jorge given his contract is expiring on December 31st.

His contract with the Brazilians will not be renewed and now all that remains to be seen is whether he leaves this summer or on a free transfer in the winter window. The paper claims that the player has given the approval to joining Milan and the Rossoneri are on pole compared to other interested teams, such as Juventus or Napoli.

An agreement in principle has been reached with agent Bertolucci but it remains to be defined how much will be paid Santos, who would like €10m which is deemed too high by Milan. The Rossoneri are unwilling to participate in auctions with other clubs but if the 19-year-old firm will is to join, it is very likely that in the end the deal will materialise.

  1. I like this player. From youtube videos he appears good backup for the grandpas:)
I just hope he doesn’t mess with Pioli’s daugther :))

  2. ACM is the best choice for any young forward. No proper competition due Zlatan and Giroud will end their career soon. The boy has a great chance to book his position in starting 11. Competing against Dybala, Ron, Morata, and others would be more challenging. And there’s young and talented Osimhen well adapted to Serie A.
