GdS: Camarda hoping to become a history-maker again

Francesco Camarda will be called up to the squad for tonight’s game against Frosinone at San Siro, and he hopes to get minutes like he did last weekend against Fiorentina.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) recall how at 15 years and 260 days, Camarda became the youngest debutant in Serie A history in the match against Fiorentina, taking the record from Bologna’s Wisdom Amey (debutant at 15 years and 274 days in 2021).

He is now targeting Amedeo Amadei, the youngest ever to score in Serie A with Roma, at 15 years and 287 days in 1937. Getting those first minutes under his belt against La Viola helped to break the ice, and though he wasn’t involved much he came on with a lead to defend late in the game.

His first 12 minutes with the Milan shirt may not have yielded too much but the record was broken, and tonight he will be on the bench again, ready if Jovic needs a substitution, hoping to become a history-maker again.
