GdS: Chelsea offered €30m Milan outcast – Spurs set for transfer battle with major rivals

AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek has been offered to Chelsea by his agent as he looks to find a new home for his client, a report claims.

We reported earlier on Sunday via our mercato correspondent Vito Angele that Piatek is pushing to play having lost his spot in the starting XI for the time being, and he is happy to accept a move away if the right opportunity arises.

Earlier on Sunday, Radio Rossonera’s Pietro Balzano Prota reported that Milan are in talks with Spurs over a potential deal for Piatek, and that an official bid could arrive soon.

According to the latest from La Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolo Schira, Piatek’s agent has offered the striker to Chelsea as a potential replacement for Olivier Giroud, who is closing in on a move for Inter.

However, Schira also acknowledges that Spurs are also in the race to land the 24-year-old. It is of course possible that the funds they collect from Christian Eriksen’s sale to Inter could help them get the deal over the line.
