New signing Leo Duarte is set to fly back from Brazil and could feature in Milan’s friendly on Saturday, according to a report.
Duarte became fifth summer capture for Maldini and the rest of the Rossoneri leadership; following Theo Hernandez, Rade Krunic, Rafael Leao and Ismael Bennacer.
The 23-year-old arrived in Milano last Wednesday ahead of his €11million move to Milan, and revealed in his first interview with the club that it is a ‘dream come true’ for him.
Friday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) reveals when Rossoneri fans can expect to see the latest edition in action.
After signing his contract with Milan, Duarte returned to Brazil to complete the final paperwork, including obtaining a work visa.
He is now is expected to arrive back in Milan on Friday, and could even fly to Kosovo with the rest of his new team-mates for the friendly against Feronikeli.
It seems unlikely that he would make his debut in that game as – like with Rafael Leao in Cardiff – it is perhaps too soon, however he could feature in a week’s time in the final friendly against Cesena.
