In addition to reinforcements, AC Milan are also working on sales and much like the incoming front, it has proved to be very difficult. According to a report, there are three main candidates to leave the Rossoneri this month.

Gazzetta dello Sport has taken stock of the situation on the outgoing front, especially amid the interest in Santiago Gimenez, and there could be some movement in the final days of the mercato. For now, the three most likely to leave are Samuel Chukwueze, Luka Jovic and Noah Okafor.

Chukwueze and Okafor have suitors abroad, as the newspaper continues, but Bologna have also expressed an interest lately. As for Jovic, Monza are the frontrunners in that race and it seems to be just a matter of time for that move.

Gianluca Di Marzio has added that Milan are preparing an offer for the Bologna star Riccardo Orsolini, which would include Okafor permanently and Chukwueze on a six-month loan. In any case, it remains to be seen what will happen to the trio, with just one week left of the mercato.

The outcome of these potential sales could have a direct effect on the pursuit of Gimenez, that much is certain.

  1. Why are we trying to sell an injury prone player for another injury prone player in Orsolini? Just ask Bologna to pay outright. Forget Orsolini.

    1. Orsolini should have less injury problems in Milan since he would be only a back up here and not starter like in Bologna. I would prefer to get Salamakers as a back up tho since he can cover more positions and is in red hot form. However Orsolini deal looks good too. He can score goals and give Pulishic some rest from time to time.

    1. He’s not a waste of space . The only problem he has is that his playing style does not fit seria a

      1. Chukwueze is an absolute waste of space in Milan, and yes I’ve been a professional footballer, in the lower leagues but still.

        Next question.

        1. 18 months ago he was a sought after player and it was seen as a good bit of business by Milan to get a deal done. Has he excelled for Milan, nope. Has he shown glimpses of promise but a frustrating inconsistency? Yes.

The hyperbole is ridiculous, there’s a talented player that was doing very well in La Liga who has not looked at home at Milan. Maybe he’ll get better, maybe he won’t, but to pretend there’s no use for him in the squad just undermines any point you’re trying to make.

More likely, if he goes somewhere else, he’ll start to flourish. I bet Juventus fans were saying the same about Kean a year ago. No doubt Milan fans were about CdK.

  2. This makes sense list wise. Frees space on the main list for other potential incoming players. But Orsolini would occupy the currently vacant 4th national trained list spot.

Similar players moving around but our list quotas are in a better place.
