GdS: Hernandez will be back in time for Verona clash

By Isak Möller -

In the first summer friendlies, he was the best player on the pitch. However, then an ankle injury forced him to be on the sidelines for several weeks, resulting in him missing the first two league games.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), the French full-back’s condition is much better. In fact, the Rossoneri consider him recovered and next weekend, he could make his debut against Hellas Verona.

The Italian paper also claims that it might take some time before he gets to play from start, although considering his pre-season performances, it shouldn’t take long before Giampaolo is fully convinced that he is perfect for the system.

This weekend, there will be no Serie A action as the players are on international duty. Those who haven’t been called up to their respective national team are expected to continue training at Milanello as usual.
