GdS: Huge boost for Chelsea as agent of €60m Milan star plots summer move for client

By Oliver Fisher -

Agent Mino Raiola is plotting to move goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma away from AC Milan this summer, according to a report.

Speculation is rife that Donnarumma will leave the club during the summer as his contract ends in June 2021 and there are no reports of an imminent renewal.

Tuttosport reported earlier on Monday that Chelsea are serious about landing the 21-year-old and are even ready to offer Kepa Arrizabalaga plus €60m in cash in order to get the deal done, plus a five-year deal worth a total of €40m to Donnarumma.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport on Sunday (via Calciomercato.com), the doubts regarding the future of Donnarumma continue.

Given the uncertainty that is going on at management level, such as the rumours regarding the next head coach, talks have not even begun between Milan and Raiola over the possibility of a new deal.

The crossroads of whether to renew or sell in the summer so as not to risk losing him for free remains, but the paper adds that Raiola is pushing to take Gigio to a new destination this summer.
