GdS: Ibrahimovic announcement a matter of time as talks remain constant

By Oliver Fisher -

Yet another report has claimed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s AC Milan return is ‘one step away’ from being fully completed and announced.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) gives an update on Ibrahimovic’s potential third spell at Milan, reporting that he is expected to take on an official role as a personal consultant to Gerry Cardinale, which will of course have a Milan focus.

Ibrahimovic will therefore help with the running of Milan on behalf of RedBird, but we will have to wait a little longer for things to be officially announced. It is only a matter of time before everything is agreed, with Zlatan and Cardinale always in contact.

They met at San Siro for Milan-Dortmund, but the talks between the two – as also revealed by the President of Milan, Paolo Scaroni – are continuous. They have been going on for months now and it is not to say that they are not continuing to happen and that they are happening, away from prying eyes. Cardinale will stay in Milan another day, presumably, also for this reason.

  2. Honestly, I don’t know what Ibrahimovic is going to add to this Milan team.
Right now, the team just needs more healthy and talented bodies on the field, not a crazy blustering cheerleader
